Drop the delusional act, it's a lie
I am free
My life is now mine, not ours, not yours
Go on and live your life as you should
I will not bounce back into your arms
All you want from me is what you need
Which is what I am not, what I cannot be
I am not yours
I need to learn to be my own
I don't know what you think you need from me,
But you don't
I am not the answer to the way you're feeling
Nor was I ever

You convinced yourself that I was, you were wrong
And you always have been
The lie was complicated, the truth doesn't have to be
